This little man was quite the challenge - barely 6-month-old, he just wanted to try to stand up! His parents are in trouble! Luckily I did manage to capture some great faces in between his attempts to move! What an adorable baby boy. Thank you, as always, Christina and Jason - I appreciate you so much!

Look out world, here comes Mackenzie Miller! I photographed Mackenzie a couple  of months ago - she's a talented actress, but she has also just launched her professional music career. It's a very exciting time for her, and I enjoyed playing a part in it. Baby Love - Kansas City Baby Photography

 I absolutely love photographing babies who are newly sitting on their own - 6-8 months old, before they can crawl, and before they become frightened of my studio lights. They make the most adorable faces. As you know, I prefer things simple and modern - I like to produce images that will never look dated, and that aren't cluttered with props and loud backdrops - none of that is needed with beauty like this!

Modern classics - Kansas City Portrait Photographer

I love modern "classic" portraiture. That is, posed in the studio with a modern twist. One of my favorite recent sessions, which took place in February, is of Anne's gorgeous girls.  Clothing choices can make or break a session, and Anne did a great job of choosing outfits that gave these portraits a definite "wow factor."  Thanks again, Anne, for choosing Center Stage.
