Maternity Portraits in the media - gorgeous Olympian Kerri Walsh Jennings [Kansas City maternity photographer]

Congratulations to Olympic volleyball player Kerri Walsh Jennings not only on the birth of her new baby, but also on her gorgeous maternity portraits, showcased on the cover or ESPN Magazine. I love that the photographer didn't edit out her tan lines! (click to see an article about it here, in People Magazine).

I have been photographing pregnant women in the Kansas City area for seven years. My work in this area is something I'm so proud of. Schedule your session today! See my work at and send me an email to get the process started. You won't regret your decision to get portraits done, and no, you don't even have to look like an Olympian - I am a master at maternity posing and lighting for all body types.

Incredibly Photogenic Family - Extended Family Portraits [Kansas City Family Photographer]

One of the most meaningful types of session to do is portraits of extended families, because they are so precious to the family members, and because I know they will be treasured for many, many years. I feel so lucky that this beautiful family chose me for this special portrait session - they live across the country but were together because one daughter had just graduated from the University of Kansas in Lawrence. When I saw them all walk into my studio dressed so perfectly for portraits, I knew this would be a knockout of a session. We finished by doing outdoor family portraits at one of my favorite (and secret) locations in the Kansas City area. If you are in Lawrence, stop by the great little boutique owned by two of the sisters (and one of my teen-aged daughter's favorite places to shop), Kieu's.

Thank you, Kieu and family for choosing Center Stage Photography! It was an honor.
