We love awake newborns here at Little Stars by Center Stage Photography. Yes, it can be harder to photograph them, and yes, sleeping portraits are sweet, too, but we happen to be in love with portraits like these! This little missy wouldn't sleep, but the session turned out beautifully. There's nothing more beautiful to new parents than their newborn baby. That's why I keep my newborn photography style simple and classic - to let your baby's beauty take center stage. These twins needed no props or embellishment. I so enjoyed photographing them!

Adorable 6-month-old - Kansas City Baby Photographer

This little man was quite the challenge - barely 6-month-old, he just wanted to try to stand up! His parents are in trouble! In 2011 you will see me changing things up quite a bit - new blog and web site designs, new emphasis on "contemporary" studio portraits, and I'm even branching out in my newborn style, moving away from only offering the simple, classic portraits on black backdrops that I've become known for. I'll be keeping that style but also offering other image styles as well - like what I did for this dreamy little man. He's a little older than my typical newborn - about 8 weeks old here - I adore how alert he looks! I'm excited about the updates I'm implementing in 2011, and hope you are, too!
